The Little Things Journal is a blog about anything and everything. It's a little bit of this and a little bit of that written by Katie, who resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband Michael and their four young children. Katie taught preschool until 2007, when she made the decision to spend time at home with her children. Katie keeps busy with her four children, exploring all of the nooks and crannies of Northern Kentucky & Cincinnati. Katie also owns her own business: Cards by Katie, in which she creates & sells handmade note cards for every occasion. She also enjoys crafting, cooking, reading, and blogging. Katie & her family are constantly on the go and always looking for new & interesting things to do around town.
Hi. I'm Erin. I created A Bird and A Bean in 2010 as a creative place to document the silly little things the kids and I do together. I love to get creative and crafty and I love to share it all with you. I love a bargain. I love Jesus. I love anything that I can DIY. I love cooking, but I hate baking! I loathe the laundry. I only like bananas when they’re green. I love lists. I talk too much and I get loud when I'm excited. I love coffee, but rarely finish a cup. I homeschool. My house feels like a zoo sometimes with 2 kids (the bird and the bean) a husband, a dog, a bunny, and 4 chickens. I love my life! Thanks for coming to visit.

Welcome to The Healthy Hen! I have always been interested in health, nutrition and fitness, so much so that I studied it in college and earned a Bachelors in Exercise Science. I believe spending time with family can be just as healthy as eating a salad! A healthy life is a balanced life, balanced between taking care of your health and doing things you enjoy! I believe that God made us to enjoy the life He blessed us with, and to bring Him glory in doing so. I hope to be an encouragement to others to live well! Look around, leave a comment, and have a healthy day!
I'm a happily married stay-at-home Mom of two energetic girls and we love to spend quality family time together. I live in Mason, Ohio and enjoy all the fun things we have close to home, but we also love to explore Greater Cincinnati. I started MasonMetu.com in February 2009 so that I could share some of the great activities there are for families (museums, enrichment programs, local playgrounds & parks, birthday party ideas, horseback riding, amusement and waterparks, kids eat free ideas, and more). It’s a site where you can find family-friendly recommendations and activities from one mom to another. When you say, "We're going to go to (fill in your activity) today".......Your kids will be saying, "me too, me too".
Family Friendly Things to Do in Cincinnati & NKY
Amy is a wife and mother to two crazy, active sons ages 10 and 8. She loves to sew, craft, scrapbook, read, and play tabletop and role playing games (much to the relief of both her husband and her kids!) When she's not at Scooter Media, where she works part time as a social media specialist, she can be found out and around town looking for fun stuff to do with her kids (or blogging about it) and volunteering at her son's school. Amy was born, raised and still resides in Northern Kentucky but is still amazed to find new and wonderful places to visit and fun things to do in this wonderful area!
Michelle lives in northern Kentucky with her husband and 3 children. She blogs about her adventures around town, menu plans and recipes, and the comic relief provided by her family. An avid reader, she can sometimes be found taking a break at Reality Tuesday with a good book.
